Prof. Dmitri Papkovsky and Dr. Ruslan Dmitriev edited the book, which summarises biological applications of quantitative O2 analysis by means of quenched-phosphorescence method. The book provides an excellent introduction to the topic, highlights its main applications, is written by experts and leaders in this research area and should be highly useful to the diverse community of specialists targeting the problems of cell bioenergetics, biomedical imaging, marine biology, photodynamic cancer therapy, food packaging and others. The book consists of 17 chapters (368 pages) and has been published by the Royal Society of Chemistry (series 'Detection Science'). More info can be found here .
