Recent presentations by the group members

In February 2016, Dr. R. Dmitriev and PhD candidate J. Jenkins attended 60th Biophysical Society Meeting (Feb 27- Mar 2), held in Los Angeles, California.
Dr. R. Dmitriev has presented platform talk on multi-parametric O2 imaging in 3D cell models;
J. Jenkins has presented a poster on application of O2-sensitive nanoparticles to study the function of Ca/Mn-transporting ATPase SPCA2.
More details on the meeting can be found here.

Most of the members of the Lab also attended Europtrode 2016 meeting, held in Graz, Austria, on March 20-23: Dr. Dmitriev has delivered a talk on copolymer nanoparticle O2 probes for live cell imaging, Prof. D. Papkovsky presented a poster about applications of O2-sensitive probes for physiology, PhD candidate C. Kelly has presented a poster on new O2-sensitive materials for food-related applications, PhD candidate N. O'Donnell has presented a poster about encapsulation of O2 probe in protein nanoparticles.
Europtrode is one of the largest EU-based scientific meetings, dedicated to the development and applications of optical (bio)sensors. More information about this conference can be found here.

On Monday, Mar-28, Dr. Dmitriev has presented a seminar "Optical detection of molecular oxygen in cells and 3D tissue models" at the University of Tartu, Estonia.
